More info Attractive, intelligent and responsible, twenty-five year old Amy St. Laurent always called to let her family know where she was. A loving daughter, a dependable worker, and a generous soul, she won the heart of everyone she met. But one night and one man devoid of a conscience would change all that.

On an October night in 2001, Amy set out to show a friend from Florida the nightlife of Portland. She played pool. She danced. She disappeared. What followed were an investigation and trial that would require the patient diligence of two police agencies, devastate her family and keep an entire state on edge for months. This is the true story of a Maine crime that changed how law enforcement agencies in the state work together.
