Teacher Programs

Other Offerings

The Maine Humanities Council is committed to providing high quality programs for teachers to enrich their professional development and enable them to teach more effectively. These intensive programs usually last just one day, but they are packed with unique and thought-provoking lectures, discussions, and reading.

We have addressed poetry and politics, art and architecture, religion and language (see Past Programs for a list). To suggest a topic, please contact Martina Duncan at mduncan@mainehumanities.org or (207) 773-5051 x203.

Teachers are also encouraged to attend our Winter Weekend program.
