Diane Magras, Director of Development, has served in that role at the MHC since 2004. She has designed and managed the MHC’s fundraising operations with an eye to the importance of open relationships and an appreciation of the power of the humanities to change lives. She oversees all donor and foundation relations, and manages special fundraising events. Diane is also the award-winning author of middle grade Scottish medieval adventures with KD Books/Penguin Young Readers (The Mad Wolf’s Daughter, her first, was a NYT Editors’ Choice). She is married to book critic and writer Michael Magras. Their son, unsurprisingly, loves to read.
