Diane Magras, Director of Development, has served that role at the MHC staff since 2004. She has designed and managed the MHC’s fundraising operations with an eye to the importance of open relationships and an appreciation of the power of the humanities to change lives. She coordinates all donor and foundation relations, special fundraising events, and is the editor for the MHC’s print publications and e-newsletter. Diane is also the author of an upcoming middle grade series with KD Books/Penguin Young Readers (The Mad Wolf’s Daughter, Book 1, will be published March 6, 2018). She is married to book critic and writer Michael Magras. Their son, not unsurprisingly, loves to read.
