Diane is responsible for overseeing the MHC’s fundraising operations. She manages all donor and foundation relations and special fundraising events; coordinates the Annual Fund program; and researches, writes, and reports on grants from local, regional, and national foundations. A lead member of the Constance H. Carlson Public Humanities Prize work team, Magras also manages the MHC Circle (the MHC’s major donor society), the MHC Board Alumni Society, and program sponsorships.
In her off-hours, Diane is the award-winning author of middle grade adventures published by Penguin Random House. She is married to book critic and writer Michael Magras. Their son, unsurprisingly, loves to read.
