A Closer Look: Industry, Artistry, and Identity at Maine MILL

Join us for a conversation guided by archival materials from the Bates Mill design department that are currently on display in Maine MILL’s Pattern & Process exhibit. We will examine the ways our understanding of artistry, industry, and personal identity have shifted over time in a conversation facilitated by Joe Hall, Associate Professor of History at Bates College. Participants will be encouraged to share their personal insight as we explore these themes and learn from each other’s perspectives.
