Colby College Museum of Art
Join us for a discussion of the graphic novel, Fun Home by Alison Bechdel in the Colby Museum's exhibition Alive & Kicking: Fantastic Installations by Thomas Lanigan-Schmidt, Catalina Schliebener Muñoz, and Gladys Nilsson. The text and exhibition both center themes of aging, intergenerational connections, high/low culture, and storytelling. As with all Maine Humanities Council Discussion Projects, a facilitator grounds and guides each discussion, all texts are provided, and there is no charge to participate. The discussion will be richer with you there! Please register to hold your spot here.
This Discussion Project will take place in the exhibition Alive & Kicking: Fantastic Installations by Thomas Lanigan-Schmidt, Catalina Schliebener Muñoz, and Gladys Nilsson, which is on view June 26, 2024 through November 11, 2024, at Joan Dignam Schmaltz Gallery of Art at the Paul J. Schupf Art Center, downtown Waterville.
Meeting will take place in the Joan Dignam Schmaltz Gallery of Art at the Paul J. Schupf Art Center. Free parking is available on Main Street and the Concourse.
