Maine Inside Out

"Broken Clock" is an original theater piece developed by Maine Inside Out's creative ensemble of staff and Lewiston community artists. The play is based on lived experiences of incarceration, gun violence, grief, family, trust, and time. Through film, theater, reflection, and dialogue,“Broken Clock” brings us together for challenging conversation and action. The live performance is designed to open up dialogue between the artists and audience members around the question of, "what can repair, healing, and accountability look like in response to community violence and harm?" Audience members are "spect-actors" and are invited to actively participate in dialogue. The play is currently on tour in communities and prisons across Maine.
