The Skidompha Weekly Poetry Circle Anthology Book Launch & Celebration!

The Skidompha Weekly Poetry Circle has met nearly every Friday morning for over four years to start the day by reading poems together. This summer, our small group has created a collection of poetry, highlighting work from emerging and established poets, and we are thrilled to share it with our community. We’re happy to announce that we’ve been awarded a Mini Grant by the Maine Humanities Council to help support the creation and publication of the poetry collection! We are so grateful to the Maine Humanities Council for all the important work they do in Maine, and for their generous support of our project. Please join us on Friday, August 30, for an evening at the Book Shop to pick up a free copy of our anthology and to chat, visit, and celebrate this sweet group effort. We will have iced tea and coffee, snacks, cupcakes, and we’ll be excited to connect with you!
