Grant supports expansive library programming statewide

Maine Humanities Council receives $25,000

PORTLAND — The Maine Humanities Council has received a $25,000 grant from the Morton-Kelly Charitable Trust to support expansive library programming in 2016. The MHC’s range of new programming includes a civil rights-themed Let’s Talk About It book discussion series, a local-issues speaker series, and a special initiative made possible by the Folger Shakespeare Library. All work will occur statewide.
