Dan is a passionate teacher and student of film history. He is fascinated by the combination of technology, art, and industry, that fueled the world-wide craze for motion pictures in the 20th century.
His research focuses largely on the classic era of film noir that ran roughly from the early 1940s to the late 1950s. He speaks throughout northern New England on the topic and also hosts the Shadows of Noir podcast. Dan’s goal in all of this is to bring people together and help grow the world of film.
