Think & Drink 2015

Theme: Disruption

Place: SPACE Gallery, Portland

Think & Drink posterThink & Drink was offered in winter 2015 at SPACE Gallery, and the broad theme for this series was “Disruption.” We examined, in turn, the disruption of whiteness, authority, art, and gender.

The inimitable Alex Steed served as our Think & Drink “Agent of Disruption” for the 2015 series. He joined Think & Drink in 2014 as a panelist for “Truth in a Networked World” and we were super psyched to have him as our MC for 2015.

Alex Steed has written about and engaged in politics since he was an Alex Steedinsufferable teenager (ED: his words, not ours!). He has run for the Statehouse and produced a successful web series. He now runs a content firm called Knack Factory with two guys who are a lot more talented than himself.

The series was on the third Wednesday of each month at SPACE Gallery (538 Congress Street, Portland), starting in February and ending in May.

Many thanks to our beer sponsors, Rising Tide Brewing Company!
